The design proposal by WINHOUSE Architecture was awarded Third Prize in the architectural competition for Phu Kieng Bridge (Vinh Ngoc Commune, Nha Trang City).

Inspired by the image of the traditional boat — once a symbol of connection across the Cai River when it served as a natural boundary — the bridge is envisioned as a slice of time, embodying the intersection between past and present. While embracing contemporary architectural lines, the design retains the essence of local culture. Its form echoes the humble boat, with its reflection cast on the water like a visual tale of river life, boats, and the people who live along its banks.

Phu Kieng Bridge is more than just infrastructure — it is a symbol of artistry, where the spirit of Cham culture, traditional mat weaving, and the identity of the Cai River are gently and profoundly expressed through architectural language.
